Meet Nancy
Nancy L. Perry is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who received her Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2005. With over 20 years of experience, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals navigate trauma, recovery, and mental health challenges.
Nancy has worked extensively in trauma and co-occurring disorders, drawing on the foundational frameworks of experts Minkoff and Cline. Her career has spanned a wide range of settings including pain management programs, rural healthcare and nursing home environments, and community mental health — giving her a uniquely broad and compassionate perspective.
She has studied EMDR since 2015 and became EMDR certified in 2023. Nancy is also certified in RT/CT (1993), reflecting her long-standing commitment to evidence-based, specialized care. She works with clients struggling with trauma, grief, pain, anxiety, and depression.
Over the years, Nancy has learned deeply about the relationship between the body and trauma. She has found that we are not powerless — and that we can find power in simple forms of movement. We can begin to tell our body a different story. It is possible to orient ourselves in the present, let go of patterns that keep us from our true selves, and show our body a different way of responding.
Nancy believes in the power of healing through collaborative partnerships. She offers both telehealth sessions and on-site appointments to best meet each client's needs.
